Footsteps Foundation

The Footsteps Centre is a physiotherapy centre based in Oxfordshire. It provides intensive physiotherapy for children and young adults affected by neurological conditions such as cerebral palsy.
Footsteps wants to help children with disabilities to reach their full potential and give hope to their families for a more independent and mobile future.
Footsteps Foundation pays for this intensive physio for those families that cannot meet the costs.

  • Mission statement

Footsteps Foundation helps children and young adults with neuro-motor disorders to develop and maximise their physical abilities. We provide funding for children to benefit from a programme of intensive physiotherapy at the Footsteps Centre.

Footsteps has brought a ground-breaking Polish physiotherapy programme to the UK. Without any funding from the NHS, the centre provides access to a team of highly experienced physiotherapists who use a unique and specialised piece of equipment called the Spider. While Footsteps offers fantastic value for money, some families cannot afford private treatment like this. Footsteps Foundation has been set up to help these families.

The young people who come to Footsteps range from three to 25 years old and travel from all over the country. They all have neuro-motor disorders and all benefit from the treatment.
