Charity information

Ipswich Housing Action Group (IHAG) Ltd

IHAG is a small local charity with 30 years experience of delivering services to single homeless people to empower them to take better control of their lives. We do this by providing accommodation, floating support, resettlement and money/ debt advice to over 900 clients a year.

IHAG is staunchly independent, campaigns locally and nationally but is totally committed to partnership working with any organisation or institution that can help improve the lives of single homeless people.

IHAG has a variety of sources of income ranging from contracts to grants and rents but feels its independence, and hence its innovation and creativity, is being stifled by too heavy a reliance on government funding.
