Our Mission
To promote excellence in the practice and appreciation of studio pottery.
To educate the public in the work, life and legacy of Bernard Leach and the Leach pottery.
Our Vision
• To be a centre of excellence for studio pottery, setting standards for ceramic art and in particular studio pottery and inspiring and enabling huge strides to be made in improving the quality of studio pottery production in the South West and beyond
• To be the lead centre for ceramics in the South West; one of the leading centres for ceramics in the UK; one of the most important centres for ceramic art and pottery internationally
• To be a financially healthy and sustainable enterprise working with a mixed economy of income streams and exploring new business models for the craft sector -
