The Stuart Low Trust

Bringing people together for better health and wellbeing

Founded 1999

  • Mission statement

Our mission is to ensure that local people, especially those experiencing social isolation or mental distress, have access to the range of facilities they need to successfully manage their lives. We know that help can be needed at any time.

Our formal charitable objects are “the promotion, protection and preservation of public health and the relief of those suffering from mental, emotional or psychological illness or distress”.

  • Aims

The Stuart Low Trust aims to:

    • To promote social inclusion, providing open access events that are available unconditionally for all-comers, without the need for referrals.
    • To provide out of hours activities for people with mental health and other difficulties.
    • To maintain long-term support and contact for our core group of around 250 participants, who we see regularly and for whom the Stuart Low Trust is the sole contact with additional sources of support.
