Charity information

NEPACS owns 2 caravans which are maintained on a site at Cresswell, Northumberland. During the summer these caravans are made available to families from Northumberland, Teesside and County Durham, most of whom have a family member in prison. Most of these families have children; without the caravans they would be unable to have a holiday. The caravans are administered by local volunteers who help oversee the changeover of families each week.
The Society is appealing for £60,000 to purchase 2 new 6-berth caravans and equipment to replace the old models currently in use, and also to pay for site fees, maintenance and transport costs. Holidays of one week in the caravans are of very real benefit to the families in terms of physical, mental and emotional health.
