  • Mission statement

Scotland’s greatest asset is its natural environment. Since 1964, Scottish Wildlife Trust (SWT) has continuously contributed to the enhancement and preservation of habitats and wildlife throughout the country. We believe that through encouraging access to wildlife, we can involve people in understanding, conserving and shaping our landscape for the better.

Scotland’s landscape is a unique part of our country’s identity. From habitats on land to those at sea, from urban areas to rural retreats, we are committed to preserving and managing the landscape and providing homes for Scotland’s wildlife.
