  • Mission statement

We are a national charity that supports children affected by cancer and their families and we offer emotional and practical support that complements and adds value to the services provided by the statutory authorities with the object of improving their conditions of life and those of their families or carers.
We provide stress-free Compassionate Care Breaks, which are appropriate and personalised for each family, whether in one of five of our mobile homes around Wales or at our villa in Florida or at Disneyland, Paris. We liaise with health professionals at each of the destinations on behalf of the families.
We offer professional Play therapy for children to help them to communicate their thoughts, worries and feelings with other children with similar circumstances. We also provide appropriate bereavement support for both the parents and their children, with our specially trained staff caring for families who have lost a child on treatment or however long ago.
We do our best to help families get travel insurance against any eventuality, which is often very difficult to obtain for children with cancer.
We offer either face to face or by telephone or correspondence is available for anyone whose life has been affected by a child with cancer.
Our reputation is of a professional organisation, with the full understanding of how it feels to have a child with cancer, and we actively seek sufficient funding to ensure the continuance of our services for our children and their families.
