    Cardiff Metropolitan University is a modern, forward looking university with a proud history tracing back to the 19th century. Since then the institution has grown in every sense. It now boasts a comprehensive academic portfolio and an expanding research base which informs the curriculum and stimulates enterprise excellence.

    Cardiff Met has a wealth of history and tradition in professional and vocational education and training. It continues to provide education and training opportunities that are accessible, flexible and of the highest quality, and which recognise the reality of the global economy.

    The University contributes significantly to Wales, the UK and internationally by engaging in diverse research collaborations that are at the interface of new knowledge creation and its application.

    We are committed to fostering a genuinely internationalist learning environment through a process of integrating international, intercultural and global dimensions.

    The University makes significant contributions to and is an intrinsic part of the local community; providing access to its facilities for schools and community groups, running educational outreach projects for children and delivering free summer school courses.
