The Food Chain

The Food Chain ensures people living with HIV in London can access the nutrition they need to get well, stay well and lead healthy independent lives.

Founded 1988

  • Mission statement

Good food plays a vital role in feeding the fight against HIV and AIDS.

Nutrition is vital to the absorption of medication, building a healthy immune system and tackling the side effects of treatment.

When poverty, ill-health, isolation, mental-health issues, or a lack of education stops someone from accessing the food they need - our network of trained volunteers are there to help.

We provide men, women and children affected by HIV in London with the most appropriate package of home-delivered meals, groceries, nutrition and cookery classes and communal dinners so that they can live well with HIV.

  • Aims

    The Food Chain aims to:

    • To provide nutritional support for some of the most vulnerable people living with HIV in London.
