Charity information

Unseen gives survivors of human trafficking the safety, hope and choice they deserve at our 24-hour safe-houses for men and women. As well as directly helping survivors to recover from their experiences and transition to independent living, we train frontline staff and work with the UK government to change policy.

  • Mission statement

Unseen is working for a world without slavery.

The government estimates there are up to 13,000 victims of slavery in the UK. It is a hidden crime and it's happening all over the UK, on your doorstep.

Founded in 2008, Unseen works in three main ways:
    1. Supporting survivors
    2. Equipping frontline staff to identify victims
    3. Working with government, business, individuals and other NGOs to share information, shape policy and take effective action.
