IDEAL Community Action

IDEAL believes that everyone can achieve their full potential inspite of their background.

We work together with leading companies and individuals from our local community to overcome the fear!!!

Founded 2005

  • Mission statement

IDEAL is a resident led community action group based in Bristol’s inner city in one of the most disadvantaged areas in the UK. IDEAL was established in 2005 by 2 local residents who aspired to bring about long term positive change to communities affected by the illegal drugs trade.

IDEAL is a catalyst for change and utilises a community development approach, based on 4 interlinked themes – research, raising awareness, partnership brokering, and project development.

Our work is focused on a long term view where education, training, and work opportunities are essential in preventing people getting in and help people get out of a life dominated by the chaos of addiction and growing up in a deprived area of Bristol's inner city.

  • Aims

    IDEAL Community Action aims to:

    • Using experience and social skills learning to enable people to move on and reach their planned goal and to live independently in our society!!!
