St John's School in Marlborough is an 11-18 secondary school serving a catchment area of 250 sq miles of rural Wiltshire.

Founded 1975

  • Mission statement

St John's is an 11-18 secondary school in Marlborough, Wiltshire. The school has over 1,650 students from a mainly rural catchment area of some 250 square miles.
St John's students moved into their brand new building in December 2009. The new £26. 5 Million St John's was built using funds raised by the school. Rather than wait another decade before govenment funding for a new building became available, the school has sold land for development to replace the two ageing, dilapidated buildings that were over a mile apart.
We now need to ask for your support to enable us to complete Phase 2 of the project, building six tennis/netball courts and an all-weather pitch. These facilities, along with much of the main building, will be widely used by the local community as well as by our students.

  • Aims

St John's School Marlborough aims to:

    • To encourage young people to realise their potential to become active, compassionate and lifelong learners, and to be a school where every individual matters.
