Bolton Community and Voluntary Services has been working with community and voluntary groups in Bolton since 1990. We are in contact with 1500 groups across the town.

  • Mission statement

    Our vision is of a sufficiently resourced and sustainable voluntary and community sector which successfully meets the diverse and changing needs of the people of Bolton.

    We are working with partners to develop a diverse, strong and effective voluntary and community sector in Bolton.

    We:
    help groups get started
    support groups to find volunteers
    provide training to volunteers and committee members
    administer grants
    offer funding advice that is vital to help groups be sustainable

    We are currently developing the Big Bolton Fund, which is listed as one of our projects

    Bolton Community and Voluntary Services aims to:

    • TO PROMOTE AND ORGANISE CO-OPERATION IN THE ACHIEVEMENT OF THE ABOVE PURPOSE AND TO THAT END BRING TOGETHER IN COMPANY REPRESENTATIVES OF THE STATUTORY AUTHORITIES AND VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS.
    • TO PROMOTE ANY CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY IN THE AREA KNOWN AS THE METROPOLITAN BOROUGH OF BOLTON
