Dame Hannah Rogers Charity

Our mission is to empower, advocate and enrich the lives of children and adults with disabilities.

We strive to live in a society where people living with disabilities experience the same opportunities to work, train, learn and live. We want to live in a society that advocates recognition and encourages everyone to reach their full potential without judgement or limit – a society where disability is incidental.

Founded 1962

  • Mission statement

Every day our dedicated team of therapists, nurses, teachers, support staff and activity leaders strive to ensure that people with disabilities can overcome the most unimaginable difficulties. Our team works tirelessly to ensure that everyone has a voice so that they can discover their dreams, uncover their talents and give them the opportunity to turn exciting potential into real, tangible achievement. This in turn leads to confidence, skills and opportunities for a fulfilling life.

Whether it’s at our site in Ivybridge where we have a school, children’s home, respite centre and adult transition facility, or at our site in Seale Hayne which offers a multitude of opportunities including music, drama, arts, hydrotherapy, outdoor pursuits, accessible night club and much more, we ensure a diverse and supportive environment where everyone can grow without judgement or limit.
