Kith & Kids
Kith & Kids
Kith & Kids is a London-based, user-led charity working with families who have children with autism or learning disabilities: many of whom have multiple disabilities.
Mainly Kith & Kids provides training and social development projects and activities for children and adults who have disabilities, but we also provide support and information to their parents and siblings.
We have a strong self-help ethos which means that families using our services put something back into the organisation.
Kith and Kids' overall aim is to empower families living with disability to overcome their social isolation and access the services they need.
Originally a self help group started by two families, Kith and Kids is now in its 49th year and excels in providing support, activities and a common meeting ground for families who have a person with learning, physical and/or sensory disabilities to share experiences and support each other.
