Equal Futures helps people isolated due to a disability to make friends and become part of their community. We provide a Community Connector to build Circles of Support and a Future Plan will be made
Equal Futures was started and is led by families that include someone with a disability. We believe everyone has the right to a good life, which includes friends. We help people isolated due to a disability, build friendships. These networks (or Circles of Support) consist of a group of people who love and care for the individual and who are not paid to be there.
No matter who you are, we feel everyone should be able:
• to make their own decisions,
• to have a home and financial security
• to make plans for their future
• to be surrounded and supported by friends and family.
Through our work we have found that planning for the future changes lives today.
“The only disability is having no relationships”
