Cambridgeshire Community Foundation

We aim to improve the quality of life of people in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. We do this by matching those who want to give, to local charities and voluntary groups of interest to them.

Founded 2004

  • Mission statement

We provide an efficient and simple way for donors to make a long-term difference to the communities in which they live and work by setting up and then managing charitable funds on their behalf.

Donors do not give “to” us but “through” us to a wide range of vital projects throughout Cambridgeshire.

We act as a “broker” for small, local organisations, helping them access these grants - connecting local donors who care with good causes that matter.

  • Aims

    Cambridgeshire Community Foundation aims to:

    • •Maximise the understanding of, and response to, local needs
    • •Act as a catalyst for meeting changing needs
    • •Build permanent endowment funds that will provide the income for long term support to Cambridgeshire community and voluntary sector organisations
    • •Provide a comprehensive service to individuals and organisations that wish to give, to help them give creatively and efficiently thus maximising the benefits of their donations
    • •Create an effective partnership between private, public, voluntary and community sectors to ensure the best possible use of resources
