EZRA UMARPEH LIMITED
EZRA UMARPEH LIMITED
Ezra Umarpeh provides a range of support services for the sick, disabled and their families, with the free loan of medical equipment, patient transport services and respite rooms in hospitals.
When someone is sick, there are so many big things to sort out. At Ezra Umarpeh we know it’s the little things that make a big difference. It’s that small cup of coffee that provides warmth for a family member during a long night in hospital and the specialised ripple mattress that enables a sick person to fall asleep at night, despite the pain.
We provide a large range of medical equipment on free loan to the sick and disabled. This empowers the patient to manage their own care and become more independent. Last year we provided medical equipment to 1232 people coming out of hospital, enabling them to recover in the comfort of their own home.
The hospital is a very busy place and this can be overwhelming. Our respite rooms in 10 hospitals across England are stocked with fresh hot and cold food and drink, warming facilities, reading material and are a source of support, comfort and calm to patients and their families. 2216 people visited our respite rooms last year.
Disability can sometimes cause social exclusion and accessible transportation makes all the difference. Our free to use vehicle allows users to be out and about, socialise with friends and families and attend appointments and functions. If your carer is not able to self drive the vehicle, we can arrange for a volunteer driver to assist you! 1298 journeys were made last year.
Now with 3 branches and an interactive website, we offer local and efficient services whoever you are wherever you may be!
