Our organisation "Teen Action" is a voluntary organisation aiming to enhance the lives of disadvantaged young people (aged 16-18yrs), from low income families largely dependent on benefits.
Our main aims are:
To improve the social and educational skills and talents of the young people.
To increase their knowledge and skills which will enable them to successfully join the workforce, thus breaking the cycle of poverty.
To empower them with confidence and self-esteem.
Our objectives/activities are:
We run several training courses, eg. Hairdressing, IT, First aid, cookery, book keeping.
We run recreational activities.
We arrange opportunities for high level performances.
Teen Action aims to:
