Scope exists to make this country a place where disabled people have the same opportunities as everyone else. Until then, we’ll be here. We provide support, information and advice to more than a quarter of a million disabled people and their families every year. We raise awareness of the issues that matter. And with your support, we'll keep driving change across society until this country is great for everyone.
Disabled people should be able to lead the lives they choose. We’ll keep working with disabled people, their families, government, businesses - and you - to make change happen.
Together we can take action to ensure that disabled people are fully included in society – in our communities, at home, at school, in work and in our culture.
Everyday equality. No less.
And we won’t stop until it happens
Scope aims to:
- We want to support disabled people to get the best start in life. Everyone should be able to fulfil their potential in early years and transition to adulthood with the confidence to be successful.
- We want to support disabled people to live the life they choose. Everyone should have access to the care and support they need, for everyday life and life’s big moments.
- We want to support disabled people to be financially secure. Everyone should have the opportunity to work, financial security and a decent standard of living.
