Saving Greek Animals - Caring for the Animals Trust

We are a small society with no overheads or salaries so that every penny collected helps needy animals in Greece. We support individuals or small charities rescuing and/or caring for these animals.

Founded 2002

  • Mission statement

We promote and fund neutering costs, contribute towards cost of food and veterinary treatments. We have re-homed in the UK over 70 equines - mostly abandoned, unwanted or abused donkeys. Have recently provided small kennel block, new stabling for donkeys, veterinary medicines, dog and cat traps (and associated equipment), provided surgery equipment and other items to help the shelters with their work. We have produced leaflets in Greek - on "The Care of Your Donkey". "The Importance of Pet Neutering" and "The Danger of leaving Dogs in Hot cars".
