Freedom Social Projects

Freedom Social Projects works to transform the lives of vulnerable and disadvantaged individuals affected by poverty, homelessness, substance use and other life controlling issues.

Founded 2007

  • Mission statement

Freedom Social Projects is a christian charity working with homeless, vulnerable and disadvantaged individuals. Our work addresses the social, emotional and practical needs of people at the margins of society. We achieve our objectives through our open access Day Centre, our supported housing projects, our therapeutic community rehabilitation centre and by our active involvement on forums with the local authority, the police, probation and other health and educational related bodies.

The services we provide offer support, advice and practical help in a safe, friendly and easily accessible environment. They are delivered in a way that gives encouragement and affirms value and self esteem. We help people identify and resolve the often complex issues that contribute to their social exclusion or substance use, promoting healthy lifestyle choices and tackling change through a variety of interventions.

We believe that services are best delivered in a holistic, integrated manner which is why we have representatives of various external organisations working out of the Freedom Centre delivering a one stop shop.
