Somerset Wildlife Trust

Somerset Wildlife Trust does a variety of work which delivers enormous gains for wildlife on a county-wide scale, including; the long-term care of our 68 nature reserves which total 1700 Ha of land; investment in our Living Landscape programmes to link habitats and create a better landscape for wildlife; lobbying and campaigning for wildlife; working with farmers and private landowners to manage their land in a wildlife-friendly way; and the wildlife surveying and recording we carry out.

    • To advance the education of the public in the principles of biodiversity conservation and of sustainable development
    • To promote research in all branches of ecology and geology
