Teenage Cancer Trust

Teenage Cancer Trust is a charity dedicated to providing specialist care and support for young people with cancer.

  • Mission statement

Teenage Cancer Trust builds specialist cancer units for teenagers and young adults in NHS Hospitals. Every day in the UK, up to 6 teenagers are diagnosed with cancer. It is our aim to provide every young person with cancer access to a Teenage Cancer Trust unit - we currently have 18 units around the country.

Teenage Cancer Trust units provide an environment where young people undergoing cancer treatment can get the support they need from peers and qualified professionals. They contain en-suite bedrooms, special lighting, broadband connectivity, cutting edge computing and gaming technology, flat-screen TVs and chill out and recreation areas. Everything a young person needs when in hospital.
