Penniwells Riding for the disabled centre

Penniwells was set up in 1985. It has grown enormously over the years and now caters for 140 disbaled children and adults every week throughout the year. Many of our riders learn to ride independantly in walk, trot and canter with some having competition ambitions.
Riders from penniwells have taken part in the RDA regional and national championships every year since 1995. This is an area of our centre which grows every year giving many more the opportunity to take part in dressage competitions on our ponies. Our riders are also given the opportunity to progress beyond this level and take part in para dressage competitions which then offers the possibility to ride at an international level. In 2007/08 Penniwells has produced two junior international riders.
