    SOS Domestic Abuse Projects aims to “To eradicate domestic and sexual abuse in the community”

    The charity aims to do this through:
    • Promoting the protection of children, young people and vulnerable adults from the risk of harm and abuse.
    • Alleviating the impact of domestic and sexual abuse on individuals and families.
    • Supporting individuals and families to make informed and healthy choices for their future.
    • Educating the public and professional partners though training and awareness raising programmes throughout the community.

    SOS Domestic Abuse Projects aims to:

    • To relieve the distress and suffering of adults and children who have suffered or are exposed to domestic abuse by the referral to temporary accommodation.
    • To relieve any adult or child in necessitous circumstances by providing services or facilities and by the preservation and protection of their mental and physical health.
    • To educate the public in the causes and effects of domestic abuse and the prevention thereof and to undertake or contribute to research into such matters and to publish useful results of such research
