  • Mission statement

Rape Crisis Surrey and Sussex is a professional and passionate team of women, working in a centre of excellence dedicated to the healing and empowerment of survivors of sexual violence.

Based in Crawley, West Sussex, our core services include: face to face counselling for up to one year, for female survivors 13 years and over. All our counsellors are fully qualified and highly trained in the field of sexual violence. Alongside this we have an advocacy service which gives support for clients going through the legal system and taking their perpetrator to court. This includes attending SARCS, Police, Court Proceedings, explaining process and providing information.

Other services we provide include outreach support to women and girls who may be marginalised by experiences of homelessness, involvement in sex work, drugs and alcohol, or ethnicity and a specialist FGM worker.

We also offer specialist training in sexual violence awareness and prevention, and workshops for young people on consent.
