We provide support and advice for visually impaired people throughout Northamptonshire. Registration is NOT needed to qualify for assistance from us.

Founded 1896

  • Mission statement

    NAB has been in existence since 1896 and was founded to
    offer employment to destitute blind and partially sighted
    people of Northampton. Today, we offer a comprehensive range of services throughout the county, helping thousands of visually impaired people deal with every-day living, as well as pointing them in the direction of specialist help and advice. Services include:

    Darsdale Home for the Blind
    Wardington Court Activity Centre
    External Services
    Talking Newspaper Service
    Local Social & Support Groups
    Hospital Information Desks

    Financial assistance from Trusts, companies or legacies is always welcomed to help our work with blind and partially sighted people.
