Child Rescue Nepal, formally The Esther Benjamins Trust has been relieving child suffering through rescuing and rehabilitating child trafficking survivors in Nepal since 1999.

  • Mission statement

    Child Rescue Nepal works for Nepal's most excluded and at risk children. The current focus is on children who have been trafficked into India, rescued by the Trust and returned home.

    The Trust has a vision for freedom for every child to fully develop through a life of happiness and dignity.

    The Trust aims to:
    Be a grass-roots organisation
    Deliver tangible outcomes
    Work in areas other NGOs overlook
    Involve and keep faith with its supporters

    Achievements include:
    Having rescued over 600 children returning the majority back to their homes
    Been instrumental in stopping the practice of holding children in prison with parents
    Closing down circuses in India as trafficking destinations
    Putting 14 trafficking agents in jail with one case pending

  • Aims

    Child Rescue Nepal aims to:

    • We aim to stamp out the trafficking of children by carrying out anti-trafficking work, such as community education, pursuing the prosecution of traffickers, and improving schools.
