  • Mission statement

Birmingham Hippodrome aims to be the UK's leading large-scale presenting theatre, world class in every respect.

Birmingham Hippodrome Theatre Development Trust (Registered Charity No. 511567) was established in 1981 to support the work of the Theatre Trust (Registered Charity No. 510842) by raising funds to fulfil its potential. The theatre has three core strands: performance, education and heritage. Funds raised enable each of these activities to be maintained and flourish. We actively fundraise through our individual supporters, the business community and trusts and foundations. We encourage involvement of our supporters to give a deeper understanding of our work and how people benefit from this.
