The Second World War Experience Centre

The Second World War Experience Centre preserves and shares the experiences of people who lived through the Second World War. We have created a unique collection of more than 26,000 items including recorded interviews, love letters, diaries, photographs, uniforms and other memorabilia, which we keep safe to ensure that they are available to future generations.

We are committed to recording as many people's experiences of the war as possible and we need your help to do this. We are very aware that we are engaged in a battle against time; to capture people's memories of wartime life before they are lost forever.
