Treloar Trust

Treloar's provides education, care, therapy, medical support and independence training to around 200 children and young people with physical disabilities from across the UK each year.

  • Mission statement

    Our mission is to provide first class education, therapy, medical support and independence training for young people with physical disabilities in a caring and supportive environment.

    Our vision is to create a world where physically disabled young people learn to take control of their lives and dare to dream.

    Our services include education and independent living skills for young disabled people at Treloar School and College; round the clock residential nursing and palliative care during term time; therapy and assistive technology support to enhance students' health, mobility, communication and daily living and working with disabled people in the community who want to make changes to their lives, guidance and support for the transition to adult life.

  • Aims

    Treloar Trust aims to:

    • Beyond Treloar's - we are proud to be a key advisory resource for local, regional and national authorities, making a lasting contribution to the lives of people with disabilities.
    • Treloar College - an independent residential specialist college for up to 125 young people aged 16-25 years with a wide range of disabilities, many of whom have associated learning difficulties.
    • Treloar School - a non-maintained school for up to 95 children with disabilities aged seven to 19.
    • Outreach Services - extending the reach of our expertise and support so that it is available to people with disabilities in the wider community, delivered at our Holybourne campus and at client sites.
    • Transition - providing support to students to prepare them for the transition from Treloar's back into the community, supporting independence and helping them realise their full potential.
