Cord works internationally to build lasting, peaceful relationships between communities, civil society, and governments as a way of bringing about positive, transformative change for some of the world's most marginalised communities.

  • Mission statement

    Cord is an international charity working in societies affected by poverty, inequality, and fractured relationships, where mistrust and a lack of cooperation between the state and civil society is undermining sustainable development and the defence of people's human rights. Cord works in partnership with local community based organisations to develop their skills, knowledge and expertise with a view to enabling them to more effectively advocate on behalf of communities with government, private companies, and others with power and leverage to impact the quality of life of disadvantaged communities.
