Emma's Trust

The Trust was established in 2005 following the sudden and tragic death of Chipping Norton teenager Emma Curtis-Smith. Emma was an active sports woman and dancer, she also worked as a lifeguard and as a Sports Leader she helped organise numerous events for young people. Emma also performed in and choreographed a number of youth productions.

Emma passionately believed in helping young people develop confidence and reach their sporting potential. The Trust has been set up in her name to encourage young people in the fields of sport and performing arts. Emma’s Trust offers financial support to young people in Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire and Warwickshire who may be restricted in undertaking sports and performing arts due to financial restraints. The Trust also contributes to asthma research in the UK.
