Dynamic provides after school and school holiday activities for disabled children and young people, aged 8 - 25 years, with all manner of disability and life limiting illness.
We also provide a integration programme called Interact supporting suitable young people into mainstream leisure activities.
A Dynamic Future Project supports disabled young people not in receipt of statutory services with a Transition to Adulthood service supporting them through very difficult transitions in their lives.
Dynamic is a Wrexham based charity that provides out of school activities for children and young people with physical, intellectual or sensory impairments, emotional and behavioural problems or chronic illness. Supported by volunteers, Dynamic works in partnership with statutory agencies, the voluntary sector and the community. The aim is to provide a lively, safe and just environment in which children and young people with special needs, their carers, families and friends can benefit from an enhanced quality of life and the young people be empowered to help themselves.
Dynamic currently supports over 100 youngsters by holding 9 weekly after school groups, Club 19 – 25 and a Saturday drop-in group, activities during the school holidays and a major Summer programme. Dynamic is the only provider of this type of service in the area and has long a waiting list for our services.
