Link Age Southwark is a vibrant local charity providing friendly volunteer support to over 500 isolated, older people in Southwark.

We help older people stay connected with their communities, alleviating loneliness, improving health and wellbeing and making communities stronger through volunteering.

We are a volunteering charity which recruits, trains and supports volunteers to deliver our services. We currently work with over 300 fantastic volunteers.

    Link Age Southwark helps older people stay connected with their communities, alleviating loneliness, and improving health and wellbeing. We recruit and train volunteers to deliver these services:

    •One-to-one befriending visits
    •Activity groups with volunteer transport
    •Practical support including light gardening and help with odd jobs
    •Intergenerational work with local schools

    We work to create friendly, vibrant local communities where older people thrive.
