Saint Mary's Family Centre

Saint Mary’s Family Centre is a voluntary organisation offering services to children and families in the local community as well as Social Work Services to various London Boroughs. We have been established since 1992 and work in partnership with the London Borough of Croydon. The Centre is based in North Croydon bordering Lambeth and offers support to many families ‘in crisis’ situations. These families need help before problems escalate and Child Protection issues arise. The majority of families using Saint Mary’s Family Centre have faced multiple difficulties in both their own experience of being parented and in parenting their own children. These children have not known ‘equality of opportunity’ for such reasons as poverty, abuse, domestic violence, racial discrimination, criminal conviction and refugee status. The Centre is open five days per week Monday to Friday and provides a range of services which are staffed by a team of professional workers.
Aims
