Broadening Choices for Older People

BCOP was established in 1946 with the objective of providing care, support and accommodation for older people in the West Midlands.
For over 60 years it has gradually expanded its activities providing diverse services for older people, including holidays, meals on wheels, in addition to its current core activity of accommodation, care and advice.
For many years BCOP has administered charitable funds, helping those in financial hardship in the community. BCOP also run an award winning 'Handyperson Service' in South Birmingham, for which we are always fundraising for.
We are in the process of fundraising for the building of a Dementia Care Unit in Selly Park, Birmingham - our Chief Executive is swimming the English Channel in September to help raise £50,000 towards the cost.
