The Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy Trust

The Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy Trust (DMDT) raises funds for research into cures for Duchenne & Becker Muscular Dystrophy. Duchenne is the UK's second most common inherited life-threatening disease.

The DMDT exist as virtually a zero cost base charity as volunteers - we use web based resources to help keep costs low and maximise all donated and fundraised money. It is this in part, that allows us to return approaching 120% of donated and fundraised money via our bank, the Charities Aid Foundation (CAF) Bank directly to further the research effort and to invest directly in DMD/BMD research (on average that's around £12 for every £10 fundraised and donated to DMD Trust).

All this means that more of your money goes where you'd originally intended it to go - to furthering and funding research for a cure and to help to deliver just that, nothing more or less.
