Jordan River Foundation

The Jordan River Foundation (JRF) is a non-profit Jordanian NGO established in 1995 and Chaired by Her Majesty Queen Rania Al Abdullah. The JRF is a registered UK charity organization with two main focus areas: child safety and economic development for low-income communities.

JRF's Child Safety Program (CSP), undertakes both intervention and prevention activities against child abuse, with the objective of enhancing positive child-rearing practices to protect children and to identify, confront and eliminate all forms of abuse through awareness, prevention and rehabilitation programs.

JRF's Community Empowerment Program (CEP) exemplifies the Foundation’s commitment to sustainable human and economic development. Through its various income-generating projects, the CEP aims to empower marginalized and low-income communities by creating economic opportunities that fundamentally improve the quality of their lives.
