Plymouth Mind actively promotes positive well being through its Plymouth Recovery College and delivery of formal and informal mental health training, and helps employers create stress free workplaces.

  • Mission statement

    "The objects of the Association shall be to promote the preservation of mental heath and to assist in relieving and rehabilitating persons suffering from mental disorder or conditions of emotional or mental distress requiring the advice or treatment, in association with national Mind, in accordance with the aims and objectives of Mind. "

    Mind's vision is of a society that promotes and protects good mental health for all, and that treats people with experience of mental distress fairly, positively, and with respect. We actively promote positive mental health for all.

  • Aims

    Plymouth & District Mind Association aims to:

    • Plymouth Mind works for a better life for everyone who experiences mental health issues. To this end we run the Plymouth Recovery College founded on principles of hope, trust and opportunity.
    • To provide open access services for people living in Plymouth Devon and Cornwall and to challenge stigma in all its forms.
    • To provide quality mental health training in Plymouth Devon and Cornwall and help employers create stress free workplaces through delivery of our accredited community and MHFA training courses.
