The Ghanaian Children's Trust

The charity raises funds in the UK to support orphaned and destitute children in Ghana.

Founded 2004

  • Mission statement

The objects of the Trust are to relieve poverty and distress among children and young adults, who are orphans or who are destitute, particularly but not exclusively at the King Jesus Charity Home in Boadi, Kumasi, Ghana, and to advance their education. This is done by raising funds in the UK to pay for school and higher education fees, apprenticeships, food, building maintenance and general running costs at the orphanage. King Jesus Charity Home is a non-governmental organisation and the Trustees of the Ghanaian Children's Trust work closely with the Director of KJCH to monitor how the money is spent. The Trustees receive no financial reward from the Trust.

  • Aims
