Generation For change and Development

Generation for Change & Development supports pastoralists’ communities in the Horn of Africa overcome extreme poverty. We work in partnership with locally-based community organisations, leaders and institutions.
Our main focus is on projects with strong poverty alleviation objectives such as: Primary and Secondary education; skills training; Women and Girls empowerment.
We strive to empower the most vulnerable and needy members of the communities to become agents of their own development. Our relationship with the beneficiary communities is central to our success. We take this relationship seriously by designing and implementing projects with and not for the local communities.

In addition, our projects have attracted a high level of volunteer participation on the part of village residents and decision-makers..
