Pseudo Obstruction Research Trust

Our charity was formed in June 2006 in the memory of Emily Jasmine Frost who lost her life to Chronic Intestinal Pseudo Obstruction at the age of 2. Our aim is to raise both public and professional awareness into this disease and to raise funds to provide much needed research into this condition. To date we have raised over £100,000 and will be helping to finance the setting up of a National Database of sufferers nationally which will be based at The Royal London Hospital (to incorporate GOSH) This database will enable consultants to view background information of patients symptons, medical tests, results etc thereby enabling future research which as a charity we aim to fund.
