Royal London Society for the Blind

Founded in 1838, our aim is to remove barriers to personal fulfilment and social inclusion by providing a range of education, training and employment services that meet the needs of blind and partially sighted people in contemporary society.

RLSB runs a specialist nursery, school and college from our educational campus in Sevenoaks, Kent and adult support services from Central London. We offer highly specialised services in Kent to meet needs that cannot be met in mainstream schools, while reconnecting with a lost generation of children and young people by providing responsive community-based services in London and the South East that promote their social inclusion as adults.

In order to do the utmost for the children, young people and adults we aim to assist, the RLSB must continue to secure financial support at all levels. The RLSB is reliant on the generosity and dedication of its supporters for over 30 per cent of its income.
