    Our mission is to provide a holistic approach to dealing with Sickle cell and Thalassaemia,to empower and enhance the quality of life to all sufferers and their families. We aim to increase self confidence and self esteem enabling the client group to achieve a more independent life. Our mission is to help develop resources and services to improve the health, quality of life and awareness for people living with sickle cell disease and associated conditions as well as providing support for caregivers, families and friends. Our vision is to be known as providers of the highest quality of holistic care and support for sufferers of sickle cell disease, regardless of economic or social standing.


    We believe the centre will provide service users with a more conducive environment for recovery following illness thus leading to reduction of stay in hospital and improved state of mind.

    Wolverhampton Sickle Cell Care and social Activity Centre aims to:

    • We are a small local charity committed to raising awareness of Sickle Cell and Thalassaemia in all communities and offering high quality services to those who suffer from it.
    • To provide short stay respite services for carers, and parents of sickle cell and thalassaemia patients.
    • To improve the quality of life of people living with sickle cell to gain independence through advocacy, support services, education and the care we provide.
