Breast Cancer Haven

Breast Cancer Haven provides free emotional and physical support to anyone suffering from breast cancer.

Founded 1997

  • Mission statement

Breast Cancer Haven exists to improve the quality of life of those with breast cancer. We help people through the physical and emotional experience of breast cancer by offering a free, in-depth and personalised programme of psychological support and complementary therapies.

We work to provide complementary therapies to help alleviate the intolerable side effects of breast cancer treatment, working in tandem with our medical colleagues. We feel taking a holistic approach to helping those with breast cancer makes all the difference.

This type of specialist care is not currently available anywhere else. We are a national charity with Havens in London, Leeds, Hereford and Wessex. We also offer an outreach programme across the UK.

Over 50,000 cases of breast cancer are diagnosed in the UK every year. We help our Visitors to cope with the psychological impact of their illness and the often profoundly debilitating side-effects of medical care. Our Havens work alongside the NHS and other healthcare professionals to help people to live well with and beyond breast cancer.
