SAFS is a charitable organisation who provide health, social care and well-being services to children, young people and adults with physical and learning disabilities, predominantly from the South Asian Community but not exclusively.

  • Mission statement

    SAFS provides a range of culturally sensitive care and support services to South Asian children and young adults with physical and learning disabilities, their parents and carers.

    We provide a domiciliary (care at home) service, an after school club, youth group, parents and carers support group, liaison and outreach service and an adults group.

    Our mission is to provide a wide range of high quality care, support services and opportunities to enable South Asian children and young people with disabilities and their families to enhance their quality of life.

    Sandwell Asian Family Support Service (SAFS) aims to:

    • SAFS' vision is 'a world where children, young people and adults with disabilities can reach their full potential with love and care, free from any kind of discrimination and deprivation'.
    • SAFS aim to enhance the quality of life of and create opportunities for children, young people and adults with a disability, life limiting or life threatening condition by providing quality services.
