7200 Trust

We are currently restoring a heavy freight locomotive, 7200, which was the prototype of its class. We feel that this fills an important gap in the preservation movement as these locomotives played an important role during and after WW2 supplying industry with coal and iron ore. We are currently about three quarters through the project having started eighteen years ago with a rusting hulk rescued from Barry scrapyard
