  • Mission statement

    Havering Women’s Aid provides a place of safety for women and children escaping domestic violence/abuse. We offer practical and emotional support for residents at the refuge and have a floating support service for all victims of domestic abuse living in the borough. We work in partnership with other agencies to promote the welfare of women and children suffering from domestic violence/abuse. Havering Women’s Aid organise and run several drop ins and support groups across the borough. Counselling services and Mendas (specialist support line for male victims of domestic abuse). We have limited children's services and continuously seek funding to provide services for children's counselling and clubs.
